Experience a weekend retreat that will deepen your prayer life as you learn about Benedictine spirituality and humility as a way to life in Christ. Sister Mary Margaret (Meg) Funk will present the classic obstacles to prayer (including thoughts of food, sex, things, anger, depression, sloth and pride) along with tools to overcome these challenges.
| Sister Meg is a member of Our Lady of Grace Monastery in Beech Grove, Indiana. She has served as Ececutive Director of the Monastic Interreligious Dialogue Board, spoken at the world's Parliament of Religions (1993), traveled to India and Tibet, and been in formal dialogue with Hindu, Zen Buddhist, Islamic, Confucian and Taoist traditions. She is the author of Thoughts Matter, Tools Matter as well as Humility Matters. Her chapters have appeared in The Gethsemani Encounter, Benedict's Dharma, Purity of Heart and Transforming Suffering. |
